Hello,

i want to generate a rss-feed of the following url:
http://www.torrent.to/torrent/index.php

to get this i use the following url of wotzwot:
http://www.wotzwot.com/rssxl.php?pageurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.torrent.to%2Ftorrent%2Findex.php&sf=Legends+may+Sleep+-+But+they+NEVER+Die&si=%BB&ei=%BB&sd=&ed=

this will create a feed-message of each entry on www.torrent.to.
each message contains a link like this one:

http://www.torrent.to/torrent/popup.php?Active=Abook&ID=60074

this link in each message is wrong.

the correct link have to be:

http://www.torrent.to/torrent/popup.php?Active=Abook&ID=60074

How can I disable the translation from "&" to "&" in the link

best wishes

UP

Hi UP

RSSxl is not doing any translation, so there is nothing to disable! If you take a look at the source HTML of http://www.torrent.to/torrent/index.php you will see that the links do actually contain "&". Most browsers and newsreaders can handle these links. For example, when you use SharpReader to display your generated feed, the links work fine even though they contain "&" like the original page.

Yes, you completely right.

The Problem is the rss-reader and not the rss-link.

I've alway tested the wotzwot-rss-link in the feed-reader of the opera browser. Now the same link in another RSS-Reader and it works very well.

Big thx for your help

Actually I might have been wrong! It gets a bit confusing discussing entites in forum posts when your browser is busy translating the entities in the posts! I have found a bit of rogue code that may have been causing a problem. The links may work better now - try the feed-reader in opera again.
